Formic Pro 2 Varroa Treatment Dose Pack

Formic Pro Strips are used for the treatment of Varroa mites.
This 2 dose (4 strips) pouch is perfect for hobbyist beekeepers with 1-10 hives!

These new improved strips are a Formic Acid polysaccharide gel strip that has a longer shelf life (2 years) than the previous MAQS (Mite Away Quick Strips).
When placed in the heart of the honeybee hive, it kills the Varroa mite where it reproduces, under the brood cap.

Formic Acid is organically certified and eliminates residue risk, allowing beekeepers to use it safely during the honey flow.

Varroa Mite treatments, including Formic Pro 2 Varroa Treatment Dose Pack are a regulated Class C Pesticide under the Pest Control Products Act and Ontario Regulation 63/09. 

Class C Pesticides may only be sold to individuals who possess  one of the following:

• Certified and Registered Apiarist / Beekeeper
• Certified Farmer
• Exterminator
• Pesticide Vendor

A valid copy of at least one of these licenses will be required at purchase to acquire any Class C Pesticide treatment.
